Biography
Dr. Udhaya Parivallal is a Urogynaecologist and laparoscopic surgeon. She treats pelvic floor disorders, female urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and performs reconstructive pelvic surgery. She is specially trained in vNOTES (Vaginal Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery), a scarless, minimally invasive way to do gynaecological surgery.
She earned her MBBS at Government Kilpauk Medical College and Hospital, Chennai. She then completed her MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at PGIMER, Chandigarh, one of India’s leading medical institutes. She went on to complete a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Urogynaecology at KIMS Hospital, Secunderabad, recognised under Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Telangana.
Dr. Udhaya is active in teaching and research. She has presented her work at international forums, including ICS Abu Dhabi and IUGA Barcelona. She aims to help women regain comfort, confidence and quality of life by giving them sensitive, evidence-based care for conditions that are often under-reported.

- A comparison of vNOTES and conventional laparoscopy for hysterectomy in benign, non-prolapsed uteri
- Intravesical cocktail instillation as an adjunct to first-line therapy for bladder pain syndrome
