Biography
Dr. Anupriya S is a physician who trained in Internal Medicine. She completed her MD in General Medicine at SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, SRM Institute of Science and Technology. She has clinical experience in adult inpatient care, acute medical emergencies, bedside examination and diagnosis. She treats patients using evidence-based medicine.
She completed her MBBS at Karpaga Vinayaga Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, where she earned honours and distinctions in six subjects.
Dr. Anupriya has a strong interest in research, especially diabetes, kidney disease and infectious diseases. Her MD thesis studied urinary podocalyxin as an early marker for diabetic kidney disease. She has published as first author in peer-reviewed journals, including BMC Infectious Diseases, and has presented papers and posters at national medical conferences such as APICON.
She is also active in medical leadership. She currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Indian Medical Association Junior Doctors Network. She speaks English and Tamil.
