Biography
Dr. R. Monisha is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. She completed her MS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Government Thiruvannamalai Medical College and Hospital, Tamil Nadu, and her MBBS at Government Villupuram Medical College and Hospital, Tamil Nadu.
Her postgraduate training gave her experience in caring for women through pregnancy, childbirth and after delivery, including high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies. She also treats common gynaecological conditions, and offers family planning and reproductive health counselling.
Dr. Monisha follows evidence-based practice and puts patient safety first. She takes time to explain each step of care to her patients and their families. She has a keen interest in teaching and academic work, and speaks Tamil and English.
