Biography
Dr. T V Sai Sivram Vara Prasad is a Neurosurgeon with a strong focus on spine surgery. He treats conditions of the brain, spine and nerves using both open and minimally invasive methods. He is especially interested in endoscopic spine surgery, craniovertebral junction surgery and spinal trauma.
He completed his MBBS at Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, Kolar. He went on to earn his MS in General Surgery at Chettinad Hospital and Research Institute. He then completed his DrNB in Neurosurgery at Star Hospital, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. His general surgery background gives him a broad clinical foundation, which he brings to complex neurosurgical care.
His DrNB dissertation studied outcomes of Unilateral Biportal Endoscopic (UBE) decompression for degenerative lumbar canal stenosis. He has received several Best Paper and Best Poster awards at state and national surgical conferences.
Dr. Sai Sivram speaks Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, English and Kannada, so he can communicate clearly with patients and families from many regions.
