Dr. Aruna is a Senior Consultant Pulmonologist at SRM Global Hospitals, Chennai. With over 20 years of extensive clinical experience. She has a strong background in treating various respiratory conditions and has a special interest in sleep medicine, airway diseases, ILD, and pulmonary rehabilitation. With more than two decades of clinical and teaching experience, Dr. Aruna has been actively involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate education. She co-authored the book “Pulmonary Disorders in Women” and has contributed significantly to the academic field, including publishing over 30 papers in national and international journals. As a key contributor to medical research and education, Dr. Aruna serves on the editorial board of the JAPT Journal, reflecting her leadership in pulmonary medicine. She has been a resource faculty at numerous national, state, and postgraduate conferences and CMEs, sharing her knowledge and expertise with peers and students. Dr. Aruna is also an active participant in the National and State Task TB Force Meets of Medical Colleges, showcasing her dedication to combating tuberculosis and other lung diseases in India. Her commitment to advancing pulmonology and her extensive teaching experience make her a well-respected figure in both clinical practice and academia.
